02 Feb Infographic Videos: A Great Tool for Promoting Your Company or Product
Clients are continually asking us for simple and cost-effective ways they can use video to enhance their marketing and engage prospective customers. We have plenty of examples of product introduction videos, educational videos and testimonial videos to accomplish these goals, but many customers want something even simpler. So, we challenged two of our digital developers to create an infographic video all text, no on-camera work required.
We used the CropLife magazine’s Top 100 report for the content, and the two videos can be seen via the links below:
Video #1: 5 Things You Might Not Know about the CropLife Top 100
Video #2: 5 Things You Might Not Know about the CropLife Top 100
Our editors posted both videos online, and the retail audience clearly appreciated them they spent an average of 30 seconds longer watching each of these videos than they do with other videos on the site, which equals spending 2 times as long on the page as they do with non-video pages.
These videos work for three reasons:
- They offer a unique way of displaying the most important facts from a mountain of data.
- The fast-paced, visual nature makes them engaging and captivating.
- They can be produced quickly and fairly easily no cameras, no microphones. All you need is a script.
Videos like this can be particularly effective whenever you either really want to grab attention or you need to communicate a bunch of facts think new product introductions or sharing the latest research results. Depending on the completeness of your script and the length of the video you want, the cost would likely be $1,500 to $2,000 for such a product, although you’re smart to budget more money in the project to support pushing it out your audience.
